Today, 6th of June, is the Swedish National Day. We all want to feel the swedish aura of celebration and thereby find positive ideas for coming events as well as products and services.

So what have the swedes come up with then? Ok, we can name several outstanding inventions. But I want to see beyond this path of history. What will come in the future, is a much more interesting and important question.

Sweden, belong to the most highly developed countries in the world (in most ways and angles), and therefore have (or should have, I will say) a natural advantage. But at the same time the highly developed society lays back and take much for granted, and this is a lesson that Sweden and a couple more countries need to learn. Or to put it in more radical words: hunger feeds creativity! If you don’t have all solutions/product/services etc, you need to invent your own solution.

I want to see signs, examples and ideas of the future of product development and product design. Can anyone give me a hint?
